Learn all about Coronavirus from two well-experienced speakers.
Dr. Jayesh Patel.
After doing Residency and Fellowship in Infectious diseases in Chicago he practiced for one and half year in Pittsburgh. Here are some of his accolades:

- GAMT (Gujarat Association of Middle Tennessee) was founded in 1997. Jayesh was one of the founder members.
- He was vice-President of GAMT in 1997 and 1998.
- President of GAMT in 1999.
- He is a Board member of GAMT.
- Vice President of IAN (India Association of Nashville) in 2003.
- President of IAN in 2004-2005.
- He is a Board member of Skyline Medical Center, has been on Board for nearly 20 years.
- He received Frist Humanitarian Award two times.
- He is on the Board of ICSSS (Indian Community Seniors Support Services) for the past 8 years.
Dr. Janak A. Patel
- Director of Infection Control & Healthcare Epidemiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
- He is also Director of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Professor of Pediatrics.
- He is currently chairing a task force for COVID vaccine preparedness at UTMB.
- He has participated extensively in patient care, teaching, research, and administration, including many leadership roles.

A new statewide vaccine appointment scheduling system to go live next week. It’s unclear how that will affect counties with existing online scheduling. COA will send an update once more information is known about the state system.
